A hoax, often perpetrated as a practical joke, is an attempt to trick an audience into believing that something false is real. There are so many UFO hoaxes. Some are purely self entertaining, others are to impress others.
Publicity may be another reason too. The WTC UFO hoax is actually a promotional advertisement of a UFO near World Trade Centre being seen by a group of tourists in a helicopter. It makes use of Computer-generated imagery(CGI)to simulate the UFO encounter. Watch out for UFO hoaxes !
